One of our guests shared with me this book. I cried many times while reading, especially in the beginning.

I will be eternally thankful for the wake up call the book gave me. I learned to appreciate the ageing process of our Julieta. She has never been an easy dog, but I want to enjoy every second of her life. But not only her life, but everything around me.

It is very hard to realize while reading that the life of your dog is so much shorter than yours. That suddenly they stop doing things they did because they struggle with their little bones.... that you need to be ready to let them go despite their eternal readiness to fetch the ball.

The most beautiful thing I take from this book is that life should be as simple as :

Food, fetch ball and sleep !
